    I'm new to this forum. I should have my Off Road here any day now and stoke! Will post some pics once it's in.

    I'm at a dealer in Iowa and would love to help people here if you are thinking about a new Tacoma - I pass along all of them (except the pro) at dealer invoice. I'm in Iowa so if you are interested in at least knowing what invoice is on them let me know. I have access to Toyota's national inventory so I may be able to answer questions most other dealer employee's either can't tell you or won't tell you.

    Let me know if you need any help!

    EDIT: If I don't see your post, send me a PM and I will get back to you! I don't want to miss anyone

    Is that because of the truck or because I work at a dealership?

    Only if you're here to sell cars and get people in your dealership.

    If you're a normal guy who happens to work at a dealership you should be golden. If you're a salesman who happens to join a forum and now wants to make everybody a deal then you'll likely have a hard time here.

    Close knit group of people with a good nose for fuckery, and we don't have much patience for people to try and join a free forum in effort to make a dealership dollar.

    That's what autotrader and craigslist are for.

    You'll certainly get a lot of questions (especially about your "insider" perspective), and you may even question why you bought yours :notsure:
    I stay away from that section (mainly because I own a 2nd Gen), but there are a lot of people that complain about every little thing.

    I'm a normal guy that's stoked about getting my Tacoma I've been wanting since the release. Since I have access to all the dealer internal stuff, I can pull vin's anywhere in the US and tell you everything the dealer has in it - I don't care if you buy one from me or my dealership. just glad to help out. Sales people don't have the best reputation. Just trying to do the right thing and help out.

    People like help, and it's nice of you to help. I was just responding to your previous post - all people are welcomed here, the ones here to make a dollar off of free advertising just don't last long. Never said that applies to you. ;)

    Another guy does much the same (help with VIN tracking..), as a side benefit of people appreciated and respected he's gotten some sales off of members in his area, but that wasn't his play. Just a side effect of being a good dude.

    @Letsgoplaces is his name.

    Well then, I've got your first task. Run this VIN and tell us what you get back:

    Do you work at Jay Wolfe? It's a reserved Tundra, I attached the specs on it. Invoice is $41,283.20. What else do you want to know?

    It looks like it's been at a couple different dealers so it probably has some miles on it.
