Hello All.. I just bought a 09 Tacoma access cab with a 2.7 and a 5 speed. I wanted to get WeatherTech mats, but to my surprise, they say that they do not have front mats for a 5 speed, as there were not enough 5 speeds sold. What if any difference is the floor / hump between a 5 speed and an automatic? historically I THOUGHT most all vehicles were the same floor pan design? I know the consoles will have various differences to accommodate the shifters, but the actual floor configuration?

WeatherTech has rear mats, but no front mats...Husky has front mats, but no rear mats.

And I say thank you all, as I have learned a lot on these trucks in a short time just reading the forums. Day time running lights will be the first fix ill make!

Thank you for any input or ideas.

There should be no difference in the floor pans.

I did check the Weathertech site and for the 2015 and 16 it doesn't seem to care about transmissions. it does ask about the 09 trans though. Thank you Crosis.. I think the same thing. could the console be THAT much different between an auto and a manual trans? at or near floor level how different can it be?

No laser measured for the 2009, but they do have the all weather mat for that year/model truck.

Agreed. X-act Contours are much better than Weathertechs.

I have seen a few people that have cut a small notch out of the top of the mat to allow room for the clutch.... They were trying to sell them after they sold their trucks.

The area around the clutch pedal just needs to be trimmed slightly so the pedal doesn't catch on it. Picture in my sale thread below if you want to see. Just order for an automatic.

I just bought a set and found that when you press the clutch pedal down it would get stuck behind the floor mat. Just had to trim a 2"x2" section by the pedal means everything works fine now
