Need some advice and/or help making decision. Someone backed into the rear quarter panel of my truck and didn't leave a note. Pretty much ruined my day. I almost want to trade in my t-force for a 2016 model but apparently Toyota didn't come out with a Tacoma TRD Pro? Was thinking about getting the 2016 off road or sport and if so, what mods would I need to make that would be very similar if not identical to the 2015 TRD Pro? I do go off roading often. What shocks would be the best and what tires etc etc.

Well the dent is ugly and dedcutable is $1,000. I love this truck. Just moved back home to TX from Seattle and this happened. Just trying to decide on either paying the deductable or trade it in.

The main mechanical difference with the TRD Pro are the front shocks and coils, and the rear struts. So you can buy a TRD Pro suspension or buy the Baja version (very similar) or buy the relatively new Bilstein 6112 fronts and the 5160 in the rear, which again are very similar to the TRD Pro set up but cost a little less.

Well I ended up getting a 2017 Barcelona red TRD Pro last week and traded in my 2014 t-force after I got the rear panel replaced. I do miss my AT's, rock rails and KC lights. Right now I'm trying to figure out what size tires I can put on without them rubbing.

Some people have run 275/70/17 on stock height for the 3rd gen. 265 is more common though, I think. With a lift a lot of people run 285
