    I thought the same thing. I learned that the smaller antennas will work better for my future application. I still want a whip tho!

    I know this is last minute but if anyone is interested in running the mojave trail(laughlin to barstow) dec (17-19) with a few socal TW members we have one more open spot before a permit is needed. Spending 2 nights/3 days on the trail and checking out all the memorable spots.

    Think I’ve mentioned this in every socal thread so hopefully no one says they wished they had gone after we get back.. anyways:hattip:
