haha I had the same problem! It was so loud in the cab I thought my bed was coming loose. How did you decide to fix it? gonna bend the pinch weld? I jammed some rubber between to dampen the sound and it completely made it go away. (obviously not a permanent fix tho)

I'm not too familiar with the Sierras, but the one time we went just after we got the truck was freaking awesome. I'd love to spend as much time as possible up there next Summer.

Grab your annual fishing license in January, brotha. Your boy won't need a license till 16. We'll be slaying trout all over them Sierras. And you're right, its freaking awesome up there. We're lucky to live so close to what people refer to as "God's country."

I gotta step up my gym game. I really felt my body taking a beating in Death Valley. Setting up and breaking down camp daily, concentrating for an average of 7 hrs a day behind the wheel. Hiking, climbing, elevation changes, etc. The body and mind take a pounding out there. We burned a shit ton of calories daily. I follow this guy Cameron Haynes on IG after seeing him on the Joe Rogan podcast. He's a bow hunter. He stalks prey, doesn't sit in a blind and doesn't bait hunt. Anyhow, his daily workout routine is impressive. I can see why. The outdoors is beautiful, but it's also an unforgiving, wild bitch. Haven't drank much since getting back from DV and after a way too long hiatus, I'm meal planning again. Gotta strength and condition for the many adventures next year.

Month 1, clean eating, hydration, stretch and rolling a lot on a foam roller. When you feel you've stretch enough, stretch more. Lifting will be introduced month 2. Hike now. The weather is perfect.

That's my personal short term planning based on where I'm at now.

Cam Hanes is the shit, he's a beast. That 200 mile race he did was crazy. Luckily for me bow hunting has been way cheaper than building cars, but it is definetly time consuming.

He's got a good podcast, too. I load them into my ipod and he talks knowledge at me on long drives.

I just spent 3 months working in the sierras so I listened to a lot of podcasts since I didn't have service most of the time and was driving tons driving back and forth between work and home. When I got into bow hunting I heard of him, then a year or two ago I heard him on the Joe Rogan podcast and started following home. I have been listening to his podcast since it came out. I listen to a lot of hunting podcasts but his is one of the better produced ones and he's had good guests on. I just wish he had the time to put them out more frequently

Definitely. He and Rogan are pretty good about bringing quality guests on. Steven Rinella Rinella is another Fishing, Hunting, land preservation guy that I like. He for the show Meat Eater on the sportsman channel. Legit.

I listen to rinella's podcast too. It's not often you can find someone as educated as him speak about the things like hunting that I enjoy. I also enjoy how much history he gets into. I wish remi warren would start a podcast too
