Hey guys, had a strange issue with my clutch this morning. I have a 6 speed with a 4 month old clutch and throw out bearing. This morning was cold (26 degrees) and I started the truck, put it in neutral, and released the clutch. I noticed that the clutch was very sluggish and stiff (cold I presume) and there was a fairly loud whining noise coming from the thowout bearing area. It was much louder than the squeak the throw out bearing did 4 months ago. I almost thought it was a fan belt issue at first. As soon as I depressed the clutch it went away, I drove to the back of my work, and I could not reproduce the sound. I'd like to think this is strictly cold related, but it doesn't seem normal. Any thoughts, opinions, or similar experiences? Any help is appreciated.
