Hi. I drive a 2012 Prerunner automatic. When I take off it every gear shifts good except when it shifts from 2nd-3rd it kicks really hard. Its extremely noticable. My dad said i could be a computer problem and the clutch could not be slipping into this gear. Has anyone had this problem?

You have an automatic? (I'm assuming so because manual Prerunners are rare it seems). If you do then you don't have a clutch, at least not in the sense that a manual transmission does. Instead you have a torque converter. Anyway my first question would be how many miles are on your truck and how many miles since you last had the transmission serviced/fluid changed?

My truck only has 75,000 and the trans fluid is good.

Check your transmission fluid level. It could be low. there are How-to threads all over this forum.
