just picked up an 2017 dcsb silver tacoma 4x4, I'm looking at an old man emu 2 inch lift, as Im familiar with arb products, I also have a new set of tires I was saving for my other truck, my question is will the 2 inch ome lift clear 285/75r16 tires? anyone with hands on experience on this exact same set up? any other recommendations as far as a lift kit? I'm trying to maintain my ability to daily drive this truck, any advice is welcomed.

I had a 2.5/1 leveling kit on my 17 taco, and 285/70/17's. I had to trim the air dam a good bit, and it rubbed against the mudflaps when I hit a bump turning. You'll need 3 inches to clear, and will probably trim a little. Your mileage will go to shit, if that's important to you. If it is, go with 265's and the EMU you described. It will still look awesome. If you put some aftermarket rims with some backspacing, or a spacer with stock rims, it will look even better.

may have to go 3 inch instead, I don't mind doing a bit of trimming, I'd like to stick with the 33s, any other lift kits with similar quality and price point as the ome?

love that trooper, it does everything I need, I'm keeping a little longer, that's why I'm not going full blown on the taco yet, mild lift, tires maybe some bumper mounted led lights for now.

3" spacer lift ranch hand brush guard... for now
Just joined and figuring this forum stuff out myself... but I've got a 3" lift and no chance of fitting 33's... the a arm was in the tire hard. I don't understand the clearance from the stock tire tbh, I can fit a finger in the gap and that's it. After lift also. I hate it but I'm trying wheel spacers Tuesday
