Does that light dim with the interior & dash illumination? (I am assuming the interior/dash lights have a bright/dim control like most vehicles)

I was looking for a thread like this for awhile trying to see if there was a way to just turn it off! Looks like I'm going to find some tape based on the comments. It's just so annoying when I have my phone sitting there charging at night, it reflects off my screen and I keep seeing it in the corner of my eye.

Is there a way to replace it with an LED bulb?

the biggest annoyance to me is seeing it in the back window via the rear view mirror. I did see another thread on here where someone added an ambient light in the upper console near the sunglass holder. This is where the ambient lights are on every honda i've ever had. I might put a light there and then a tiny piece of tape over the one in that storage area.

I see the reflection in the rearview mirror too, it is quite annoying. Lucky me, I only drive my truck once or twice a week.

Next will be the buttons on the nav screen which cannot be turned off. Then the cluster. Then all of those street lights and other vehicles. This will be a never ending cycle until you have eliminated all light from the universe. THe most efficient way to do that is to cover your eyes.

definitely not the same thing as a persistent light that is visible in the middle of the rear view mirror as a reflection off of the rear window...something that is built into the truck. the radio lights aren't at the correct angle to reflect back there. it could likely be simply solved with a tiny piece of plastic or tape on the side of the bulb or lens towards the cabin of the truck so that the light still shines down but that the bulb itself isn't visible from the rear window.

Yep. It's annoying. Guess I should tape mine. Nice having the light there though

i'm kinda wondering if a drop of removable paint (like touch up paint or nail polish) on the side of the light that faces the cabin would reduce the reflection enough to not see it anymore.

I usually do hand shadows with the light glare while I am driving. Keeps me entertained.
