...^^^... Have the same cover and I have not noticed any leaks.

Put some rubber door bead in those 2 corners ... a total of maybe 4 inches.

Does it have any leaks, bad leaks? I just cancelled my BakFlip MX4 order because of how many people were having leaking issues.

gator.jpg I just installed a Gator FX5 cover, easy install and looks very nice, I'm not sure if it will or how much it will leak but overall, I'm very happy with it.

    Google?

First hit when searching for "rugged cover 2" led to this site: http://ruggedliner.com/tonneau-covers/hard-folding-tonneau-cover/

On that page the show the Application Guide: http://ruggedliner.com/truck/wp-content/uploads/PremiumHardFoldingApplications.pdf

Results in a part number of "HC-TUN5514" for the short bed.

Googling *that* leads to several places offering it for sale, such as https://www.amazon.com/Rugged-Liner-HC-TUN5514-Premium-Tonneau/dp/B00PWXB2JS

An update on the Rugged Cover II....I tightened it up and now even driving in heavy rain, not a drop of water inside. Still gets a little when washing.

Picking up my TRD Pro Monday, does anyone have any experience with the Extang Revolution? I have had good luck with other styles from Extang in the past

I may only see a dribble or two down the sides of the bed which never reach bottom. Very pleased with my Rugged II so far. Had to remove it to fit a TV the other day. Took me 30 seconds to remove. Can take just 90 seconds to install, but my OCD causes me to make sure it is perfectly centered by counting the dots on the bed. We'll see how it survives the New England winter.

Don't see in the reviews where anybody has wrote a review about this cover on a 2016 or '17. I would like to know about these covers myself. Watched several Youtube video's on them though.

Had the dealership install the oem hard top tri-fold. They did a really nice job. I noticed a few water streaks in the nose of the box after pressure washing but i dont think it would accumulate much. I was not expecting total water proofing any way. The origibal bed rails do come off and are replaced with identical rails with cut aways for the latches inside. So you will have an extra set. The dealerships expect some negotiation on accessories upon purchase. So, I opted for this and winter tires. They seemed to be the most practical for me. Also, the tonneau should fall under your vehicle warranty if purchased with truck.

I have a Tuxedo Lo Pro QT too. It looks good but leaks quite a bit around the corners near the cab and along the sides where the factory bed liner flares inwards. I think the main reason was that the cover rail sits on top of the bed cap which makes it hard to seal completely. I really think it is a design issue that needs to be re-engineered. Now I'm back on the market looking but after reading all these posts I'm still not sure which one to get. The factory one is just too heavy and wastes lot of bed space.

I have the Lo Pro also and mine leaks at the same places yours does. If I had the money I would buy a Undercover Elite. :( And I would buy it from a local truck supply so they could install it and I would have someone local to take it to if I had problems with the cover. Wished I would of paid up and bought the Elite.

One thing I learned was that because of the design of the new Tacoma bed, many great covers will have an issue. My friend recommended the Truxedo to me because he never had leaking issue on his RAM. Well it apparently does not work well on the Tacoma.

I totally agree with you on getting one installed from a local dealer. Much easier to discuss the issue and work out a solution.
