I leave mine running with the dog in it and lock it with the laser cut key if I have to run in somewhere. She's not a very good deterrent to a thief since she'll just roll over wanting her belly rubbed.

I live in nice area but close to a sketchy stabby area
Every once in a while someone is warming up there car unlocked and it gets jacked.
Usually they go for the luxury cars not trucks but not taking any chances.

Wait.... you lock your keys in your truck and take your phone with you?

That seems backwards to me... but I guess if you crash your bike and your phone makes it thru the crash AND you need assistance .... it could come in handy??

Some day your phone will talk to your car and your car will talk to your phone but you wont be able to talk to your car directly.... in the same manor.

    truck - open door
    truck - turn on
    truck take me wheeling.....
Phone tell truck to come pick us up, I'm tired of biking.

Always gonna need a phone .... maybe not a key?

I want to carry as little as possible. When I run I want nothing. When biking I take phone for emergencies.

I trust no one. Truck is locked when my arse is not in the seat. No exceptions.

Thanks for the help, guys... I guess I'll just use the key, bit I was really hoping there was a way to use the FOB.
