dumb question from yet another newB on tonnage

what would be the tonnage rating on my new 2016 limited?

I don't think Toyota labels the Tacoma or the Tundra with tonnage ratings, but I have always thought of my 2012 Tacoma as a 1/2 ton since it can carry 1000 pounds in the bed. I'm 58 and still call pickups as a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton. The younger guys I often talk with do not. They smile and say, "Do you mean that F150 or F250?"

 

I thought this thread was about swapping to tons.
