I just bought a new 017 Limited and like the truck but today went out to go to lunch and the thing hit hard into reverse, it was fine on my way to work. I have 2600 miles on it and on the way home this afternoon it would shift past 4th gear, took it to the dealer and they still have it. Does anyone know of this happening toa016/17's

This topic is probably the single most talked about topic on this forum. There is TSB-0077-16 Rev-1 I believe that might also apply to your 17. Try a search and you will find tons of responses on the taco tranny issues. Good luck !

Get your transmission fluid level manually checked as well.

Took it to the dealer and it was low about q half a quart but somehow the programming got jacked up so they filled the tranny and reprogrammed the computer and how it's fine.
