image.jpg image.jpg A dead tree fell on my Tacoma yesterday. Saw the whole thing from short distance away. I watched helplessly as the wind decided to tee up the standing dead pine and blow it in the spot where I parked my truck. Luckily it was only the top of the tree that landed. If I had parked it just a couple of feet closer, It might have resulted in a busted windshield or worse. So feel a bit lucky that it wasn't worse. It was the first dent since I bought it new in 2012. The first is always the worst.

Well bummer. At least it was a truck and not an expensive car.

I feel for you. 4 years is a good long run to have it look so good. I just whacked my 17's B-pillar with a caribener this evening, didn't make a dent but it still hurts.

Actually spruce mica was hit by a pine. Crazy thing was that I have been parking in the same spot for the past few weeks building a carport and that one day that I was only there for an hour, it chose to fall.

I watched a 30ft dead Ponderosa Pine come down only a few feet away from me and completely smash the hood and blow out the passenger side window on a new Mustang up in Northern AZ a few years ago.

Dead trees are assholes. Sorry about your hood.
