What did you guys do with the brake lines on the drives side. I was just trying to install mine earlier tonight and two of the mounting holes are where the brake lines clip in. Also on my 17 almost half of the "holes" aren't holes. Did you have to drill most of them out?

This hurts my eyes! You may want to consider getting something like this, makes a world of a difference.

I put on RCI sliders yesterday and didn't have this problem. They even included longer bolts to replace the OEM bolts.

You probably worked this out by now, but, yes. Got to drill those holes out.

another tip for those, get 3 carbide bits 1/8, 1/4, 3/8. Went through like butter with a stronger bit. Still need to drill out the rear and figure out what to do with driver side break lines...

Exactly how I did the drilling for my install- For the rear bolts I got a longer bolt and then torqued the hell out of it which allowed the mounting plate to bend and follow the frame contour.

what did you do with your brake lines on the drivers side? I don't want them just flopping around and the sliders use those holes.

Just skimmed, but have installed a set of these on my truck. What hasn't been resolved yet?

Nothing. Awesome sliders. Installed fine. If yours are on with no issues then you're good.

As far as the brake lines go, I took some spare diff breather hose and cut it into 1 inch sections and on one side, length-wise. Then just slip it over the lines where it makes sense. That will end the slop and any chance of chaffing

That's kind of what I did. Actually I did that in a couple spots. Near the bolts I just shaved off the attaching point thing and slipped it over the bolts like a little shield. If that even makes sense.

I'm reading back through before I start the drivers side. Passenger side took 2.5-3 hours no encumbrances. Drivers side...looks like a pain in the butt.

Its not that bad. Just be prepared to drill two additional holes for the bolts that hold some kind of box bolted to inside of frame. I emailed all-pro about it months ago, but I guess they havent made any updates yet.

Hmm. I didn't have to drill any additional holes like that? Just the four bottom holes (I think) and the two rear most ones. Nothing about "some kind of box".

I m trying to get started, but I see all this brake line retainer clips and some bolts holding a housing for brake related assembly and a bracket brake line support...none of which are accommodated for with these "bolt on" sliders.

yeah you have to use those holes for the bolts then figure out how to deal with the brake lines, it is the same issue I was talking about earlier. The control box does go back on fine it is just the brake lines that are the issue
