Your post made me think of something. You should find a way to use the 4wd once a month. I never thought much of that, but this is my 3rd Tacoma. I moved to Vegas when I had my 2003 and never used 4wd. One day it wouldn't engage. Toyota had to replace some parts. They said something was all gummed up from never being used. So ever since, I use 4hi and 4lo once a month no matter what. Of course with this Tacoma I find myself off road often enough it's not a problem. Anyway, friendly advice for everyone.

Anytime man, and thank you! I'm totally with you there and always look forward to your posts. I agree with you about the white light, as I often think it's harder to see at night with overally bright white lights as opposed to amber. I will likely do they exact same setup as you, as I already bought SDHQ's dual light bar mount. Just need to save up for the lights, lol.

Ya I'm loving everything they make so far. Just wish I lived in AZ so I could actually go into the shop, although that would be dangerous for my wallet.

I've seen those bed stiffeners before, but never really gave it much thought. This is my first tacoma and truck, and I do have a 300lb topper. Is the bed cracking and tweaking a serious thing? I read the forum on the product, just didn't notice any pics demonstrating the issue. Appreciate any info you have.
    Thanks!

It's a dangerous place for sure! They have everything there, in Stock so you can have instant gratification! From suspension down to small fabrication parts and everything, I mean everything in between. They havery such massive inventory.

It's not crazy common but it does happen especially if the truck is going off road. Even more so, look in your side mirrors while you're driving and you'll notice the back of the bed flexing.. For 155 bucks it's cheap insurance plus the added benefit of increased rigidity and added tie down points

Gotta warn you it's a tight fit over the bell end of the tail pipe. But it does fit!
Took a bit of serious persuasion with a rubber mallet to get the back end over that part.
Put the clamp on first and rest it back on the tail pipe before you install the exhaust tip. Orient the clamp so the nut is facing forward when it's on the top of the exhaust tip. That minimizes any view of the bolt. Then be sure to move the clamp over the back end of the exhaust tip before you put the shims in the back. Just a couple pointers from my installation experience!

It does say in the owners manual to run the 4 wheel drive at least 15 miles every 30 days.

Installed my new Clazzio seat covers. Special order that took a while to get, but the color match to the quicksand is spot on.
