    Hello all,

I am looking at a 3 inch suspension lift for my 2012 crew cab short bed. How big of wheels and tires can I fit with a 3 inch suspension lift? And what sizes do you recommend? Currently on stock 16x8 pro comps and I want to upgrade. The picture is how it sits today. Thanks!

A couple of rear window decals...
    33's should fit with a 3" lift.

I recently put on a 3" Icon stage one suspension lift. Love the lift and 33's fit great but we did have to cut out a small portion of the body mount behind the front tires to prevent any rubbing.

Icon for the win! I'll pass on the 33s though.

Front system consists of Bilstien 6112 coil overs with Toytech top mounts creating 3" of lift, Total Chaos upper control arms, Supper Bumps, Pelfreybilt steel bumper and IFS skid plate, Spyder pro projector headlights, PIAA light bar and Ion yellow driving lights, Bushwacker fender flares. notice how the bumper mates to the flares looks like there part of a set couldn't be happier with the way that turned out. Rear system starts with All Pro standard 3" springs, U-bolt flip kit, Walker Evens 2.5 mono tube racing shocks and Super Bumps, Pelfreybilt steel bumper coming soon. I chose All Pro Apex sliders bolted and spot welded for there brut strength to protect the rockers. Next I'm putting stronger axles, big brake kit, Tom Woods shafts, intake and cat back.
A few months ago I installed a 3" kit on my 2011 Tacoma consisting of bilstien 6112 coil overs set at 2.5" with ToyTec top mounts creating 3" For the rear I used All Pro 3" standard springs and Walker Evens shocks. To answer your question is tricky I chose Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70/17 and I am having zero issues but that was lucky because on both the side of the tire and on Nitto's site they stated that this tires outer diameter is 33" but the actual OD is 32" thank god because a 32 requires no trimming but a 33 will require trimming and reboxing of the body mount that any good welder can do. it is also very important to get a wheel with 4-5" backspace to keep the tires in the finder as much as possible and minimize damage to the side of your truck from anything flying off your tires. My last tip is look at 17" wheels there are a lot more options in this size
