I have a 2010 TRD Offroad and want to ditch the chrome grille that is in somewhat rough shape for a 2011 honeycomb style sport grille. The issue I ran into was apparently BSP was not offered in the Sports for 2011, only Black. My question to you guys is, would it be that noticeable? I barely notice the flake in my paint as it is and I cant help but think it wont look terrible. looking at the bumper cover and small plastic potion below the head lights you can hardly notice the "glimmer" of the paint. What do you guys think? I dont HATE the earlier sport grilles, I just prefer the honeycomb look.

It's pretty noticeable in my opinion when the black and BSP trucks are side to side. That being said, that discrepancy comes from comparison of large objects. With the grille being so small, the paint difference may not be nearly as noticeable.

Why don't you take the honeycomb insert of the 2011 and fit it into your existing 2010 grille surround?

It would drive me nuts! if you ever polish your truck, you will definetely see the flake more . I would put the insert in a bsp surround.

Yeah I think it may get to me as well. I think I'm going to go with a older grille and attempt a Satoshi with my old grille. if it turns out great I can use the surround from my new grille.
