Steve, you did good, it's greatly appreciated. Sorry for the delay but Calculus has taken over my life, 3 days left until the final. I think the letter was the best part, shows it wasn't just some stuff thrown in a box, but you spent some time making sure your gift would be well received and it was. I'm looking forward to trying a garbage plate and a scotch ale. Cheers, Shay

Happy that you're happy! Let me know when you take a swing at the garbage plate, I'll be happy to talk you through it. Good luck on the calc final. And I think I forgot to mention in the letter that my son was stoked to see your name. His name is Seamus, but most eveyone calls him Shea. Anyways... sláinte and Merry Christmas!

I didn't think anything of it.

The only thing I think I remember is my giftee had 9 posts total.

    This is true.

The next day we're going on a dinner date to Santiagos where we will share their hottest chile verde.

Our goals as elves is to have everyone enjoy the event. We do not like excluding members as groups, because for every bad apple there are 50 good ones. But the concerns & complaints come in. We understand that it is challenging to have someone with 9 posts as a giftee. We've also found those members are more likely to not send a gift or become inactive.

The inactive portion is very frustrating to us elves. Not only do we find it unappreciative, but it is hard to track if they received goods and furthermore it is concerning when we see they haven't logged on for an extended period during the event, knowing that their giftee hasn't received anything yet.

We would love to make this a perfect event. It won't happen.

I hope not to enforce more rules, but we are already finding repeat offenders of inactivity from last year. We are not babysitters. I hope not to speak for the other elves on this last note, but know how I feel about this... Those that repeatedly cause issues for the event will not be welcomed back in the future.

The funny part is the offenders won't read this because they are inactive...
Also, I don't mean trolling and etc, I mean actual issues. Therefore, even Noelie is welcome back (damnit)
