Just had a set of Falken Wildpeak AT3w installed last Friday. A little over 500 for tires and install so I was pretty happy with that price. Awesome in the rain and wet roads, quiet at highway speeds, and did pretty freaking good in the wet grass / mud at the farm. Waiting to get some snow to see how they do. I'm hoping to just add some weight in the bed and lock the diff if needed and keep on trucking through. Have to touch up the new wheel weights so they don't stick out against the black rims. tires.jpg tires 2.jpg tires.jpg

Nice! Remember though, don't lock the rear diff on pavement.

Yeah.............. My son was helping me detail the inside of the cab and when I wen to move it, it sounded a little off and I looked down and saw the lock was on. He must have engaged it when he was armor-alling (is that even a word) it......I ain't mad at him though. He was trying. Now there is a nice black mark along the driveway

Thanks! They gave the truck a much beefier look than the BFG's that were on it.

    Tires are stock size- 265/70/16
    About 40lbs per tire
I paid a little over 450 for all 4 tires, with free shipping and my install cost was 65. I use tirebuyer.com for my ordering of tires. Really good prices, and a lot of different brands have some good rebates, and they run web sales all the time.

I have wild peaks on my chevy. They have 50k miles on them with tread left and super quiet. You made a great choice sir.

Thanks fellas!!!! I'm hoping they last for me. Pictures definitely do not do these tires justice. If you can find some and look at them up close, they are just all around bad @$$ tires. They are supposed to have the deepest tread of any brand in their category. The next time I need a set on the Tundra, I will be getting these for it.

Surprised other brands get more love here

These seem to be the best suited for the truck, no?

For what I use the truck for, they are definitely the best for mine. Price was I couldn't beat it either. The local tire discounters had quoted me something ridiculous like $800 for some coopers. I just didn't like the looks of them at all. I don't have 4wd, so I wanted something aggressive for the winter and farm, but yet gave the truck a beefy look, without compromising highway drive-ability.

My gen 1 lives at our date farm February - October

    No oaved roads
    Hilly
    Muddy
    Sandy

It comes home for winter nov-Jan where it's highway and city garages life

Ko2 and coopers all seem to be $800-$900

I don't have a problem spending money on good tires but if these are $500 and just as goood and light (I have anemic 2.7L) then these I wouldn't imagine would get quite popular ?

Maybe it's because some people are picky about their brands. I am not one of those. I figured for the price I couldn't go wrong. If I hated them it was only 500$. Not 800$. I think you should definitely consider them. I can't vouch for how they do in the sand...........as there is no beach anywhere near me. LOL. Someone else on here might be able to though.

Picked up the same tires recently, but one size larger 265/75. No complaints, very quiet, good wet traction so far. Hopefully they fair decently this winter.

Not a Taco, but we can all look past that lol. Like afore mentioned this is my tread after 53k miles.
