    Out of idle curiosity and well boredom .. If a 50's Mid Atlantic Camp out was to be attempted where would it be held trying to keep the drive time to 8 hours or less? Sorry for the far west folks it would be a trek for you to come this way or us to come that way since most of us work ..:} but a long weekend run is not out of the question IE head out Friday head back Sunday type of thing. Just something to kick around while I wait to go to Pain and Torture lol

    The reason I ask is back in the early 80's they had a massive bird jail break from some trees that crashed and ripped some netting on one of the habitats and a lot flew the coop....

    Morning, -6 with real feel of -21 today. Dogs don't care think they are both honey badgers at heart.

    I hunted and fished in Pisgah when I lived in Asheville. They even get a bit of snow from time to time in the winter there. Caught a 22 inch brownie in February on the Davidson with the fly rod one year when it was in the 60's. That isn't going to happen here.

    Cutting it close 8hrs 10 min for me probably closer to 10 towing the trailer. Still doable with my vac time on the books as long as it is not a holiday weekend.
