What's up TW. Been lurking since I picked up my '07 reg cab 4x4 5-speed in November with a tad under 76k miles. Gotta say I can already see you guys (and gals) are awful influences where the wallet is concerned. She was supposed to be my dd/work truck but now I have these visions of an adventure vehicle.

Bone stock. Right off the bat picked up a tonneau cover, new stock-ish headlights (oxidized beyond easy repair), plastiderped the grille (faded AF), shaded with 3M Crystalline and got some floor mats (originals MIA) and a seat cover to clean it up more than protect anything...plan to keep it forever.

Back to the adventure vehicle idea...dealer put on new rubber so when that's gone it's time for a lift and 33s. Any other parts that need replacing will be "upgraded". One day we may have a build thread.

That is, if the frame is solid. Any tips on determining what's ok surface rust and what's a real problem? Frame felt/sounded solid at the dealer, but they definitely shined her up good and more rust is appearing as the days go by. Maybe once coated already? Take her to a different dealer? Planning to ask in the Maryland Tacomas thread for trusted local shops.

    Here she is:

I'm in Baltimore as well and my fridge is always well-stoked with that sweet nectar.

Talk to me about your sliders - I see they're only for DCs. Any interest in making some for RCs? RC sliders are hard to find. I only found two companies making them.
