    Winter is upon us... So I decided I wanted some extra weight in the bed... I really thought I was going to get a set of these: http://www.puzzleweights.com/products.html#!/T-18-Small-Pick-Up-3’X6’/p/56359982/category=14745337

    But by the time I had my set priced out, it was nearly $300. And I have one of these:

    On my bed rail system. So I got one of these:

    I added some wood between the braces, and drilled it, and bolted it to the cargo divider (wood, divider, wood, bin). It easily held three 50 pound bags of sand and a scoop. (Would have held 4 bags if I had emptied them into the bin)

    So if I should happen to need it, I can bust open a bag, and scoop out some sand to put around the tires. They weight can't shift, and is positioned directly over the axle. No chance of a sand bag breaking open in my bed, and it's easily removable once winter is over. On the other hand, I might just take the sand out, move it to the other side of the divider - push it up against the bed, and have some needed storage!
