I know there have been threads about this topic but my situation has been a little different. The other day i parked my truck a little too close to a bush and when i backed out the bush ripped a headlight off my truck. If you are standing facing the grill it is the amber light in the top left near the hood. I drove away not knowing i had lost a light, but when i saw it was gone i went back and found the old one. As it got dark out i noticed my dash lights were not working, and now my tail lights are not working (brake lights and headlights work). So i plugged the two exposed wires into the bulb and slid the light back into place, but still no luck. All help is appreciated thank you.

Check the fuses. When the headlight was ripped out.....bare wires were present and most likely shorted out. Start with the fuse.

Head lights are on a different circuit. Like stated above,,,, check fuse.
