I know this is from September, however this is what I have been contemplating to do with mine, 884's instead of the 885's. Do yo have before and after measurements of height and what did you do for the rear with the extra weight of the cap? How do you like the set up after a few months of having it? Does it still ride smooth? Thanks in advance.

I got a little over 2" in the front, after settling.I have the 2.7,5spd.In the back I have the three leaf aal,it sits dead level. In hindsight I would have gone with a whole new leaf pack in the rear.I would talk to Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road for advice, hope this helps.

I picked up a hi lift, but I also have sliders to use as a jack point.

I would think a couple 2x4 blocks underneath your factory jack should do the trick

I am mainly looking for something for roadside repair/ changing a flat. I don't think I'll want to have a floor jack rolling around in my bed for that.

I have welded sliders as well and have considered the hi-lift. I've never used one before, but I'm assuming it should work alright for changing a tire on the side of the road. Did you mount the jack on your bedrail? If so, what kind of a mount did you do?

I've also just considered using 2x4 blocks, might give that a try first as its mainly just for swapping in my spare if I get a flat.

Right now I'm rocking a 60" hi lift laying in the bed of my truck lol yeah, somebody could easily jack it but it was used and I only paid $30 for it, but I do have a softopper that kind of keeps it hidden

I ended up having to remove my stock mud flaps due to rubbing while turning onto inclined streets and driveways. I run the TRD SEMAS with 255/75/17 DuraTracs. Does anyone have recommendations for replacement flaps that won't rub? I have looked at the RokBloks and was wondering if anyone had these in either regular or extended/ off-set. I am not running spacers, so I believe the regular flaps should be sufficient. Any thoughts?

I love that this thread is staying alive with people who are happy with this setup and getting the answers they need about it! There's some awesome looking tacomas posted here. My setup is almost a year old now and I still love the way it drives, wouldn't change anything about it. Looks amazing and feels even better. We're supposed to get almost a foot of snow here tomorrow and I have to go into work at the hospital in the middle of it. No 4wd but hoping for the best haha.
