I know but some sed the turbo was 2 K and it is not . I might of din a dick when I sed 2000 for every thing ok but it it is in the 2 & 3K range. No way 5000$ and it's used

 

Sorry dude. No quality made turbo is going to cost $279. Whoever buys that turbo is getting not only a Made in China BS knockoff, but an eventually blown engine.

By the way, only an idiot person would install a Nameplate on the outlet of a compressor. One of the most critical locations of a proper seal when attaching a silicone hose and hose clamp. Not only would it prevent a solid and positive seal, that piece could come off or the rivets that hold it on could come off and go in the intake tubing.

Then as well, I don't see the word Garrett on that compressor housing anywhere. A GT3582 or 3582R with a ported shroud, DOES NOT come with a barb fitting on the compressor outlet either.

BTW, what are the specs of that turbo? They didn't mention a single thing really. What is the A/R of the turbine housing, for instance? What is the A/R of the compressor housing?

What are the specifics of "all the accessories".

Why isn't there a picture of the nameplate?

I just recently purchased a GT3071R for my girlfriend's car. Came with all of that info and more. Sure as hell didn't get cost $279.

That my friend is a BS poor excuse for a turbo.

How about this. You go buy that steal of a deal turbo and install it on your truck, since it is such a good deal. Then do a vidoc of how you installed that turbo.

And if by some reason you had to go to a performance shop, by some strange reason, to have them just fab a piece of tubing here or there, post that up to. Including the quality of material used and how much it cost including labor.

Then let us know when it is running without problem.......that will be a big one. I promise.

That means its not a Real Garrett. Probably the same shit they sell in those turner shops that the budget drift guys shop at.

You must be new to the turbo scene. There's a lot of places in LA county that sell shit like that. Exact copy of a Garrett. I will NEVER install a Chinese turbo on my car.

@flsupraguy , this kit was in the other thread, removed from the vehicle. The OP here sold the truck to that guy and then he took it off to sell the turbo kit. Said it was too fast and scared him.
