You should really look in to opening a line of credit at your bank. Most hover around 7% and only require a 20% payment of the balance.

We should say the same about our summers haha. Hell last year we didn't even have a winter, autumn/spring (which is basically no different from each other here) just faded to and from summer

I must share this true story...

My wife was about 6 months pregnant with our 1st kid... Her hands had been swelling for a few weeks, so she had taken her wedding and engagement rings off. Having not worn them for a couple of weeks, she decided to put them back on. Well... They were NOT coming back off. We tried all the tricks... Soap, KY, Vaseline, you name it... So she calls a local jeweler, and they say that they can cut them off and then repair them. So off we go to the jeweler. Now if you've never seen a ring cutter, they look like this:



The curved part slips between the ring and the finger, and they simply turn the wheel, and the saw cuts through the ring. As they were cutting the ring off, my wife looks like she is great pain, and I "assume" it hurts... As soon as the ring is off, she walks to the other side of the store... Leaving behind the most retched, foul, disgusting, toxic green cloud, SBD pregnant woman fart in the history of the world.

The person with the tool is looking at me with great disgust, and looking like she was about to hurl (hell, I prolly looked the same way). I could tell by the way she was staring at me that she though I was the culprit. So being the dutiful husband, I simply said "Excuse me". And turn around to look at my wife who was giggling. She told me later that was when she knew that I was a "keeper".

Been married 27 and 1/2 years. But I will NEVER let her forget the bullet I took for her that day!

 

do NOT get a credit card.....a line of credit is much different. WAY better interest rates.
