    Hello fellow Tacoma owners,

I have a 2014 Tacoma with 37K miles. At my most recent oil change at the Toyota dealership, they recommended me cleaning my throttle body, fuel injectors and the mass air flow sensors. They also recommended changing the air filter.

I plan to clean the air filter myself, but was wondering if any of the other recommendations were necessary? I didn't get any of them. I want to take care of my truck, but I feel like these things don't need to be done yet. Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated. From what I've ready online, these things don't need to be done until around 70K miles.

    Thanks for the help.

    Too few to list.
I use injector cleaner about every 6 months and clean my throttle body and MAF once a year. Dealerships always recommend a bunch of things at 30, 60, and 90k miles. You can do these things at home. Super simple. Welcome to the site.

IMHO you made the right decision, especially putting off cleaning the fuel injectors. The throttle body and MAF are easy DIY, especially when changing or checking your spark plugs, because you have everything off. Just be sure you use the correct cleaner for both the throttle body and MAF.

Just fyi, 2.7 has iridium plugs that can go up to 100k. V6 needs to be changed every 30k.
