new post , going to try to find the people that know the nuts and bolts of this truck , I am going to replace the seats in my 2014, with a non Toyota brand seat...yes I will make brackets!...the real question that has to be answered concerns the air bag....if left unplugged the syst. becomes dead ,and I don't want it to blow up in my face when I attach a different manufacturer.....so are all air bags the same (voltage,amps,) I know there is a charge in the bag and a sensor tells it to go off ....looking to use Volvo seats ......so there it is not looking for good ideas, I need some yes and no answers,

no ,not bat shit crazy, going for a cust. look on the interior....looking to install a lower profile seat but the air bag syst has to work...so not bat shit and if you see a troll run over it.....now any pertinent answers to my question would be very helpful
