i am not even in the ballpark of having that kind of bro
this kind of crap sells like hotcakes around here (NTX). less than 6" lift and you're barely even a truck. non lifted Taco owners w/o stickers need not apply.

Yup sadly I know it well. The demographics of the area that owns those trucks are very very interesting from a social geography point of view

At least dealers and aftermarket installers are making boat loads of money ...

You're right not my cup of tea, but I can respect the build and the time that went into it. Just one question with those 35s, do you plan on changing your gears? I ask because I have 35s as well and I ran into the issue of the truck not shifting past 4th gear.

I prob will re-gear. my 2016 Taco had 35s on it and it would definitely hunt gears once over 70-75mphish

Yeah, I had the same issue until I re-geared mine. At 65mph I couldn't get out of 4th unless I was going down hill. Now, the only thing I have left to do is re-program my speedo for the gears and tires.

A serious build effort, nice truck, just not my cup of tea, as you stated. Will you take it off road?

Nice build. Hopefully you have a extra set of wheels, 16 or 17' rims mounted on 35 tires with sidewalls. I graduated from LA Tech, I know there's a lot of awesome wheeling spots in North LA. Drive it like it was meant to be driven!

If anything was deleted it was not by me. I respect everyone's opinions good or bad. End of the day it's my Truck, My money, my taste and when it's parked in front of my dealership and people stop in just to check it out I have achieved what I was after.

Agreed. Definately appreciate the effort put into the build and design and like you said for your area if it sells trucks than it accomplished its goal. Just protective of our trucks as a owner and hate seeing them turn into certain types of vehicles but free world, right. I would love to see what you could build that was more functional and in the typical Tacoma realm of owners.

Don't know what "more functional" build would be for me. My trucks do everything I need them to do. I have a 44 mile round trip to work and back(no problems there)
My main hobbies are shooting and Duck hunting. So I can still tow boat(check) I can still haul golf cart to range(check) I hunt flooded fields occasionally(extra height check) I use truck for off site events for dealership(flashing lights check) local show and shines(shines check) so for my area this is closer to the typical realm than for the guys up north or guys in the dessert. My dealership averages about 100 lifted trucks(Tundra/Tacomas) per year

That limited with that setup in a true off road scenario/crawling/etc....the wheels and tires for one, etc. for the typical dirt road or mall crawling sure it will serve its function but that is far from a off road setup or functional from that standpoint for your area sure but the typical Tacoma owner demographic is opposite just look at the where the aftermarket is geared to for these trucks, marketing, what they did as far as design, etc. what I was getting at with the more functional comment is the amount of effort you put into your builds I would love to see what you could build that in fact was more functional as to what these trucks are designed for and from an off road standpoint. Lifted with 20x14 deep dish wheels isn't really functional, but likely sells in your market and thus performs its function from that standpoint.

As stated truck was not built for a off road/crawling/etc truck. It was built to my taste for what I do. I respect your opinions but all the parts are "aftermarket" on this truck, designed to fit this truck. That's the great thing about aftermarket manufacturers they appeal to a wide range of customers
