What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Recently, over the last week or so, I installed a 30 inch light bar, threw some stickers on it, and (this one is my favorite mod) plugged in Christmas lights in the bed.

If they are running, they should be fine. I wouldn't turn off the engine without a plug in block heater.

 

@honey are you the one with the AMP running boards, if so have you gotten enough snow up there to tell if it interferes with the lowering and raising.

He is running those boards. But his truck has been in the shop for the last week. So I don't believe it so much snow yet. Yes I live in snow country. I have heard there's been problems with snow and Amp running boards.

 

I decided to change the colour to a whitish salty encrusted coat. On a side note the KO2s are working great in the snow/slush/freezing rain/snow showeres and flurries.

 

Only mods I have left on my list right now is a set of Clazzio Leather Covers ( on Order) and Bed LEDs which I have but haven't had time to install.

 

I stared at it intensely trying to justify cramming 35's in there. "I won't have to cut that much, I can get gears later, it's ok. It'll be ok. Everything will be fine."

 

Because it's Inferno of course.

 

Put in HID headlights and LED fog lights.
Just finished up replacing all the interior bulbs with LEDs and replacing the reverse lights with LEDs

Hey Paul, I don't know if it will be done by Tuesday afternoon because he hasn't called me so I'm assuming he hasn't gotten the differential back yet. Even if I did I couldn't drive it to Florida because I need break in period again. I'll be driving my wife's Hyundai Tucson down to Florida and he might just have to leave my truck in his shop till after New Years.

 

Hey Eric, yeah I have the amp running boards. They haven't seen much in the way of snow yet. So I can't give you a good answer. Later this winter if everything is working right I will be able to give you a better idea. I would imagine if it was as cold as it is today around 3 degrees with lots of slushy icy snow it probably would affect them. But I will just wash them off good at the carwash in a couple days it'll be back in the twenties and they will probably be ok.

 

Oh man ! , When the rest of us are bummed out cause the holidays are over , you still have something to really look forward to when you get back ! If you look at it that way , how can you not smile all the way thru ? Merry Christmas !

 

Added Tyger tonneau cover, Weathertechs f/r, rear seat cover (seat folded down in pic), and center console divider. It was a solid early Christmas.

Like the look of this setup and looking to do similar. What are the specs on the wheels and do you know what the tires actually measure on the truck (hight)? They don't look like they stick out at all, I personally don't like the look of the tires sticking out.

 

Nothing today, but I got my shell installed Friday.
