My 3 terrors. Hootie the multi color is super sweet but sadly she is not very bright but loves me, my wife and ice cubes. Chessie the all black is the trouble maker she is always getting into something. Atlas in the back is the pirate/king of the hose and the oldest. He lost his eye as a kitten but you wouldn't know it. This is his house and we are his staff.

This is BK he is 1.5 years old. Got him from the pound. Wife wanted a baby....this kept her at bay for a few more years I hope. He pretty damn funny cat, the curiosity thing is hilarious at a young age. Also huge fan of the xmas tree, we came home to him asleep in it.

My wife and I just moved and our new house has much taller ceilings than our old one.

My wife sent me this photo today of Bean the big butthead. She is seriously sitting about 15 feet up. I didn't even think about where she could climb to when we moved in.

Anyone think I should have any reasons to be concerned for her safety and/or should I try to prevent her from going over there?

You can't stop her. I think it's brilliant - she can sit and plan total world domination from a lofty perch and dust that ledge off for you at the same time.

You should cover her in Swiffers.

I dont think you have anything to worry about. Cats are pretty agile, and actually like being able to see things from above. Id say leave it be.

If she isn't tearing up the Sheetrock or trim, let it ride. If she is causing damage, make some climbing shelves to easier. Like others, it looks pretty cool

    ^^ That's funny shit!
But Ide rather have my cat be a killer. Less Mice, birds and occasional bunnies (there's a ton around these parts)
around the house isn't a bad thing.

I had a red bone mix (Walker hound) that would kill groundhogs all day long (and twice on Sunday), but it was a rabbit that fucked him up. Bunnies are mean.
