    Backup Santa's won't be called into immediate action

    After xmas (exact date tbd) (before jan 01 preferably) elves will start pm'ing the santas of those without gifts

    we will ask

    did you ship a package
    did it arrive, if it did can we have tracking info
    if not are you going to SOON as in this week
    if not, give me a solid reason (basically the only good one would be back-ordered)

    then we wait as needed, or ban as needed, and call upon backups as needed.

    But in all seriousness, if and when we need a backup Santa, we will be in contact with everyone and communicate the fact that the backup needs some time to properly stalk and order. So timeframes don't mean too much, it's the generosity and thought that counts in this case.
