Was looking through my Maintenance Guide for 2011 Tacoma and could not find mention of coolant change/system flush anywhere.
Same with transmission fluid. Mine is Manual. It is "inspected" at 60K/6years. Toyota CA told me on a RAV4 that meant that the tech smells the dipstick for "burning."
    Are they never required?

When I glanced thru the recommended maintenance booklet that came with the truck, want to say its due on the 100k maintenance and then said every 50k after that.

I think it is 10 years (100k) then 5 years (50k)after that.I just had mine done at 10 years (60k) and it was still a nice pink color.toyota said my hoses were still good.

    A thing or two...
Above posters are correct about the 100k miles and 50k miles afterwards on the coolant. I change my transmission and differential fluids every 30k miles.

maintenance book says 100K or 120 months whichever comes first. If I would have gone to 100k that would have been close to 15 years.

Thanks to all. Found the reference in manual for replacing at 10 years.
Apparently, transmission fluid only gets inspected periodically.
