    Hey, my first thread ever!

Ordering my first canopy, need a little help.

I'm looking for a shell that can handle 200lbs, with an occasional load of maybe 350lb. I carry lumber fairly regularly, but I want to be able to use my yakima gear, so that's why I'm not looking at a ladder rack solution.

So first of all, is this a terrible idea?
Can the yakima towers handle that workload?

Do I need the snugtop sportsman package for that type of load?
How much extra weight does that add to the shell? Will my back end sag and need suspension tweaks?

I also like the Leer 100XR, but if I need reinforcement, then the 100RCC.

    Got any better ideas?

    Thanks!

The Snugtop has a 500 lb load restriction.

to answer the rest of your question are you carrying 350 on top of your truck? Why?
for the rest of your questions I would submit a quote online and ask those question in the comments
