Need some advice, getting ready to pull the trigger on some king coilovers/shocks and wanted to get some input from others to make sure I'm getting the right parts and if there are any issues I should look out for.

I plan on running total chaos uppers and all pro 3" leafs with http://www.4wheelparts.com/Suspensi...aspx?t_c=1&t_s=90&t_pt=3306&t_pn=KST25001-123

I was doing some research on here and saw some people with rear kings not being compatible with certain leaf springs. Am I going to have any issues like this? Will I need new bumpstops or extended brake lines?

Also not set on buying through 4wheelparts, if anyone knows of any better deals/places to buy from, please let me know

@Downsouth Motorsports has awesome deals on suspension packages that include UCAs. Also when you are building it on their website you can see what shocks are compatible with what leafs. Hope this helps!

Edit: you don't "need" bumpstops. But it is highly recommended that you do. Superbumps by wheelers is what I run on a ubolt flip kit. Some run timbrens.

Their build out page doesn't list the all pro leafs unfortunately. But alright so I should be able to get by with my stock bumps for now, I'll get new stops when I get a flip kit

Good to know, looks like I'll be okay then.

Will I need a special tool to adjust the coilovers to the full 3" or can I order them extended already?

The kings come with the tool to adjust. Not sure what they're set to out of the box though I forget.

Ah that's convenient... I would assume they would be set at the stock height but honestly have no clue

If you order from DSM they'll valve them however you want and I'm sure will adjust to what you want

Probably who I'll end up going with. Haven't even thought about what kind of valving I want though

Call them up and talk to them. Tell them what type of wheeling you plan on doing (desert pre running go fast, rock crawling, etc) and they'll get you in the right direction.
