    2013 DCSB off road 4X4
    Mid travel, on 33's
    Heavily used for off road.

Lift and larger tires has been done thousands of miles ago so that shouldn't make a difference. Didn't hit anything particularly hard on the trails this weekend but the light came on yesterday on the trail & will not shut off.
Down hill assist and Atrac are non functional now, though 4x4 works fine.
Checked all fuses- IGN,1,2 and everything in between. No dice there.

Last I can think of is some talk of the alignment being jacked up causing this issue?
She was pulling hard to the right on the way out to camp Thursday and on the way home she's pulling hard left.

Any help is greatly appreciated guys !

Although you might have a little more fun finding the simple fix and taking care of it,please for your sake take my advise.Turn around ,don't walk run,to best dealer in your area and have shop go thru that baby with a fine tooth socket now while its still under warranty. if it turns out to be serious issue could save you thousands $$$.

Spencer go here In the first post it tells you how to recalibrate the VSC and that should make that light go away. You should get an alignment done first but you can still just make the steering wheel straigt do this reset and the light will go off. Redo it after you get an alignment. I've done this several times. ALways happens when I knock out my alignment on the trails.

The above link talks about it showing up on the display...i've never seen it.
All you have to do is jumper 2 pins on the ODB connector its pin 4 from the left on the top row and pin 5 from the left on the bottom row. make sure steering wheel is straight and you are parked on a level surface turn key on(do not start the truck) press the brake pedal 8 times within 5 seconds. Turn the car off remove the jumper and start back up...poof light is gone.

Take it to the Dealer, it might be part of the recall. I had my lights come on and it was the ABS system taking a shit. TAKE IT IN!!!

    Agh. Thanks guys

I think my game plan is to get it aligned then into the dealer. I've got a lifetime alignment so I may be able to get all this fixed for free! Kinda. Ha.

I'll update as I find out!

    Okay so
I first found that all the tabs around the alignment tabs were bashed in making it impossible for them to actually do my alignment. Bastards told me it was totally good to go.
Good thing lifetime alignment means TRY AGAIN BUDDY
    So
I bent all the smashed metal back in place & dropped it off to get aligned again.
Here's to praying that fixes it.

Just a little heads up here. Once you bend those tabs back it really weakens them. After your alignment go back and make sure all the cam bolts are really tight. More times than not bent cam tabs are due to loose cam bolts...and thrashing in the dirt ;)
You should really consider getting the Total Chaos cam tab gussets or at the very least run a weld along the outside of each of the cam tabs to strengthen them. This problem will come back and if you don't notice that they are loose and you drive around the cam bolts will start to thrash the hole on the LCA supports that come off the frame and that will be another can of worms you don't want to deal with.

Got it back from getting aligned... Light still on.
Used scan gauge to clear all codes (even though it cant read the VSC code...) but worth a try.

    Nothing.
Pulled battery cable, let it sit dead for 10 minutes, restart, nothing.

    Light still on.

I've seen dirty wheel speed sensors cause this. Pull the out and clean them well and see what happens. Also if any of the wires are broken the light will come on, as well as if the ABS fuse is popped.

    Well it's half fixed.

Happened to be by my company mechanic & asked I'd he could clear it & he said oh yeah no prob & jumped in & cleared the ABS memory- page two of the instructions for doing factory zero point VSC calibration.

Cleared the light, but I know I need to do the zero point to do it correctly.

Now I'm twice as hesitant to do the paperclip method....

I'll get my dealer to do it when I take it in next & maybe with a paperclip when I quit being a pussy about shorting out the ECU

You are not shorting out anything. The equipment your dealer hooks up does essentially the same thing. Loops those 2 connections and then he will turn the truck on step on the brake 8 times in 5 seconds and then give you your truck back with a bill.

I have had the same problem on my 2013 but it happened after i installed my long travel kit. So you are staying that I can take it to the dealership and have them clear the codes on the traction control? i don't have any ABS light on.
Also do you think this will cost me anything to get this done?
