60 mph versus 60 + mph other driver ran the stoplight at high rate of spped. I'm in hospital now broken femur and other stiff truck is totaled. Elms complained that it was a tough truck to cut through with the jaws. Pics to follow in few days

Glad you are well enough to post about it, take care of yourself and I hope your recovery is speedy. Yes, I can attest to the safety of the cab structure, damn impressive in my experience.

Glad to hear you survived, the truck may have sacrificed itself to save your life. The truck can be replaced, you cannot. God speed to a speedy recovery.

Glad you're mentally healthy. I broke my femur 12 years ago and they put a titanium rod down the center of my bone and screwed it at the top and bottom. Hopefully you don't have to get any more hardware than that. Work through that PT. If you still have pain after that try out yoga to keep your muscles loose and keep unnecessary tension off of your muscles / tendons & joints. Who knows you may even enjoy it. It helped me reduce pain and get more use out of my leg over the last 8 years. Get better brother.

I'm glad your alive and okay for the most part, as I'm sure your family and loved ones are as well.

Godspeed on your recovery and keep the spirit, and as painful as this may be right now, try to enjoy the holiday season. You're a fortunate man.
