I don't use those mail places anymore. Only actual USPS, Fed Ex or UPS locations.

Cody (@StOrMyThEtAcO) ... when I signed up this year, I honestly thought "I pity the fool who gets my name" cause there's only one thing I want, and the fattest insurance check can't buy it. I went to the wish list thread more than once to try and help, but as you know... There's so few things I don't already have. My second worry was that it would be one of us AZ guys... after all we comprise what, half of the TW interwebbers!
So today I'm loading stuff at the other house and UPS pulls up, driver yells "little but has some weight, might be good!" As soon as it was in my hands I saw your first name and the address, I thought... poor guy!

So I opened it, and of course read the letter first. The knife will be my fav, one can't have enough tactical lights, and the other items are sweet as well. But to me... the absolute best part... though I've lost my very best friend, I'm surrounded with folks like you that I can call my friends, and help fill, or mask that void. The time you took, the words you wrote, are truly part of my Merry Christmas. Thank you so very much!

When I would go visit my brother in reno people in his office would ask if I had ever seen a mountain before. Also got warnings about how to drive in the snow.

my wife was commenting on the mountains the other day...she admitted she wouldn't mind staying here or coming back in the future. in-laws are flying in friday, supposed to get snow saturday...don't think they've ever seen it (originally from central america, now Miami). sent BIL a photo the other day after we got a few inches of snow and don't think he's too enthused

I guess I'm not a special snowflake then, I'm moving there soon. Maybe even in the Fountain Hills area. Hopefully January, fingers crossed! (I need to find a job out there ASAP!)

I just wanted to post up & be another nerd poking you glorious bastards to go vote for this thread in https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2016-thread-of-the-year.465272/
Seriously, the guys who have been organizing this have been busting their asses, the Santas have been doing an awesome job, and this thread really deserves to win over any build thread IMHO.

It's just awesome to see how generous and thoughtful people are being. I've NEVER before seen a forum community do something like this, and I've been posting on various message boards since I was a shitty teenager. This is some seriously heartwarming shit, guys!:rofl:Like even if you haven't gotten your package yet the outpouring of support from backup santas means you need not worry that Christmas is ruined.

LOL. Just last night I had a discussion with my son about the amount of time he spends on his tablet. I told him the only tablet I had as a kid was the one you pictured!!!
