OK, Forum members not dramatic but I'm picking up my 2017 SR5 Access Cab 4x4 from the same dealership I picked up my first one in 2002. I'm on the lean side of 70 and after 239K on my first one thought it best to buy into my last rig. That's right, I don't think you or others would want me driving around at 80! So stoked I got another surf, fish and hunt rig to carry me through to the end! Wish me luck gang!

BTW, I'll post pics of my 2002 and 2017 tomorrow if I can figure the picture thing out. No problemo on instruction amigos, I'll figure it out, like da torque on those rear U-bolts! I'm on it! 52 PSI right?

Enjoy the new truck! I love my 2017. As long as you can keep up with traffic, keep driving as long as you can. I plan on driving till the day I move on!

70 and still surfing? You're probably in better shape than a lot of guys half your age.

The secret to it all Texas T is to follow your passion. A career ya go to that's fun, a home to a great lady, and as far as surfing, a life time passion like fishing and hunting that are the vestiges of my youth. Follow your youth and your passions. That Tacoma will take ya there!

BTW, I am not anyway shape or form affiliated with Toyota aside for the luv of my Tacoma.

I've got a great career that's exciting and different every day. I get to make real differences in people's lives. I have an awesome home life with awesome, smart kids and a great wife, who knows how to really get under my skin sometimes. I love fishing and hunting too. If I can just manage to make it as long as you it sounds like things will be just fine. Enjoy that new truck but at the rate you're going I wouldn't write it off as the last.

Hey Windsor! I live of I-5 up here in Oly, WA. Go through Myrtle Creek, Oregon a few times a year. I leave Oly at 2am to hit the Heaven On Earth Café in Azalea in the early am for the cinnamon rolls. Da best on earth and I have had the best! We need to meet up for breakfast there someday and share our Tacoma tales buddy!

I know it sounds bad, but I've actually never been there. Drive past the place a few times a month, but never stopped. If you head down this way, give me a heads up. If I am going to be around, I'd be happy to meet up for breakfast and BS.

Windsor, for so many years I can't count the Heaven on Earth Café has been my early am tradition on the I-5 corridor to California and the surf that I head to. It's a family café with just great breakfasts and the cinnamon rolls.................your cardiologist would not approve......................but life is for living and hey! Two frigging cinnamon rolls a year, it's all good! See ya down the road buddy!
