09 Tacoma radio upgrade

I have found a 2012 stock radio and I was going upgrade my 09 but wanted to stay stock. The 12 radio has Bluetooth and satellite radio - the 09 has a satellite input but no Bluetooth. My question is - are the two compatible or am I wasting my time trying to do this? The steering wheel bluetooth controls aren't a problem, as I can use the radio buttons or phone.

My fiancé was the A/V guru but he passed away before we could do this - I'm just trying to finish some of the things that we had talked about doing.
