From the voice of experience take some when it is starting to really bother you if you wait till it is REALLY BOTHERING YOU it takes for ever to kick in. Not a fan of the stuff but sleep is a good thing. As for the sock issue well get the wife to help if you can't bend that far if it is a matter of pulling them up do what I did till I got the sling off roll them down to the last two inches of sock tip slip that on and then just unroll them up .

Ha, I live by myself (and weiner dog Heidi), so it's a bit of a challenge, lol.
    But I'm good at improvising.
Back of my throat is sore as hell from breathing tube. I should have requested 200 grit tube instead of the 80 grit one,lol

    Honey lemon tea or cough drops for the throat . I think Marine has me beat but 7 times under the knife you learn a few things lol. OK so lay the sock on the floor get your longest pair of cooking tongs sit down slip toes in and then use the tongs to help pull them up if you do not have tongs head for the shop and get the long needle nose or vise grips :}

    Thats it!
I have some needle nose with a foot long handle.
I'm actually sleeping very good. Uninterrupted sleep for the first time in months is nice.
Stitches look good too. nothing funky going on there. They cut a hole in me, pain is expected.

Yeah pain is expected but as a quasi single guy lol GF is a nurse I see her when lol I see her though she lives here lol . You still have to get things done around the house etc . For example today I have do laundry , replace an outdoor light fixture , play with a faucet outside and go shop for the stuff to make meatballs tomorrow. I will probably take a Tylenol 3 about midway through the day if not the shoulder will be screaming before I get done.

Glad to hear you getting some much deserved time off. I screwed myself a couple years on time off and have had to use vacation for when I was sick.
I've had a negative paycheck before.

    Have a good Friday.
    Be safe.

    Good Morning everyone

Its 40 deg and raining right now , has been raining hard since yesterday about 1300hrs . Have had well over 2.25 inches of rain since then and over an inch of rain since midnite

We've also got strong winds and that's making for some cold wet weather . Supposed to rain heavily , windy and snow down under 3k ft until the day after Christmas

Not much going on with this wet weather , staying inside to stay dry and warm . Was able to get that extra 20% disability figured out so hopefully I'm now @ 100 % disabled thru the VA

Just stopped at our Boat ramp on the way in this morning, and couldn't resist stopping and taking these pictures. These Intrepid Boats are manufactured right here locally. They put in at our boat ramp for test runs to get the bugs out. Most of these rigs are special order!! Nice Christmas Gift!! Check out the Motors! Definitely the Go Getter Model!! :bikewheelie2:

Same here. But going to sneak out and make a run to the grocery and hardware store at lunch. Going to be a long lunch can bet on it. Had most of my standing meetings cancelled for today and tomorrow so taking advantage of it.

Damn I have dual 24's and I do imaging systems and servers all day. Now I have a strong urge to go steal a 32 from one of the Mac heads.
