i have read a few posts about people putting different chips in their tacos. I have a 2007 trd off-road access cab, I am planning on putting a flowmaster 40 series muffler and a cold air intake. Should I look into getting a chip for my truck for it to run better or should I just get the CAI and muffler and be done with it? I'm new to all of this so some help would be great! If anyone has any other advice on anything please let me know. Thank you!

What exactly is that. I don't know too much about this stuff. I'm trying to learn it all to see what I can do to have my truck running at it's best.

Yeah, maf calibrator.... call their number, let gadget know the intake you will be using. He may have a calibration file for it and can load the file before shipping.

Then u follow the instructions and solder into the trucks ecu, or pay an arm and leg for the plug and play connector (i think it's more than the calibrator).

Its not necessary, but it can help.

Yeah you will need to re calibrate the maf sensor to get the most out of an intake and exhaust.

URD or Unichip tuners are the 2 that work, the court is still out on the bully dog tuner.

URD also has a plug and play tuner for 2007. That would be the top pick.
