Hey TW, sorry for yet another suspension thread, but after much looking I haven't found anything that answers my questions. I was basically set on ordering my OME lift until I came across an option that could get me a Fox Stage 2 lift at a price I may be able to afford. I will be getting new UCA's and plan on getting a Dakar leaf pack. Also, I'm building my truck for more overland than rock crawling use. She sees 15k-18k pavement miles per year as my DD. That said, I now have a few questions:

    1. What amount of lift are you guys able to get out of Fox stuff?
    2. How is the ride quality and reliability? (Any chance you've run Fox and OME before?)
    3. What maintenance is involved and what are rebuild costs? (If you happen to know)
    4. Any other thoughts/opinions?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

The Fox is a great product!

    1. Just like all the other options you can go up to 3" Max, although we recommend trying to stay a little closer to 2.5" for better ride and performance.
    2. Both are Excellent.
    3. Other than trying to keep them somewhat clean to help avoid rust and corrosion, there really is no maintenance. Rebuilds can run anywhere from $100-$200 per shock depending on who is doing it.
    4. For the fronts it is well worth going with the 2.5" diameter vs the 2.0". Much better dampening performance.
