Finally getting my windshield replaced after about 2 years. I got out of doing it last year because when I got the car inspected he printed the sticker before he realized it was broken, gave it to me anyway. I figured I'll use him again but do him a favor and not give him any excuses to fail me!

Just went out to talk to the guy and he let me know he accidentally broke my antenna off. I didn't think it a big deal till he left and noticed that it broke the inner bolt not the antenna itself like I had first thought. So now I've got to figure that out.

 

time to drop that fender liner....

 

Finally ordered some bumper wing eliminators for my FJ.

Should look much better than the goofy silver wings on there now.

Plus mine are barely hanging on after ripping them off a few times.

Yes, I did the Infinity in Bedford NH. Expensive job, high end finishes.

 

Ah, I heard something but had no idea who or why or if it was directed at me--didn't see your truck.

 

I was absolutely thrilled when I got a crack in mine. It was pitted badly and because I have comprehensive coverage my deductible is waived for glass.

 

OMG, boss just took us out to lunch, holiday party... we all got 3 HUGE margaritas, I'm pretty hammered right now, normal for 2:15 on a Thursday- NOT

 

I just got mine replaced by a shop near my house, experience was great. They had a two door AC there that had a "oops I wish I had a headache rack" moment - they couldn't figure out how to get the factory sub out and I helped the owner pull it out for them. Turns out he was a senior robotics engineer in the government contracting world and now is helping me with Job options. Networking ftw!

 

So now is a great time to send out that email!

I see GM still hasn't made taillights that don't leak.

Or a 3rd brake light..still amazed my 06 Colorado didn't have that issue.

 

I got wet in a rain storm in my FIL's old '06 Colorado. It was coming right in from the 3rd brake light. What a fucking POS that thing was!

 

I'd have taken that issue versus the head blowing in mine at 70k though

 

Ah, fuck the beams, we can make it work without 'em!

Drunk estimates seem to be lower...
