2017 TRD 4X4 Offroad. Paid $34170 for it. Included the stainless steel exhaust tip, shark running boards, protection package (whatever that is), ball mount, and connectivity package.

I'd like to get some feedback on the price I paid and also if there are any initial things I need to check on this new Tacoma? Thanks in advance.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Perfect and congrats! Maybe the "protection" package is condoms in the glove box for all the panties that'll be droppin' when the chicks see you rollin

What was your price out the door? If you paid $34k then you did really well.

The protection package is basically a warranty, if you stain the seats they replace them, if your paint fades or rusts, they replace it, etc etc. I got it as well because sometimes shit happens and its nice they will replace the seat completely or repaint the whole truck.

Your truck my friend. Do what you like.

I am more of a fan of chrome. Most black out thier tacos. All personal preference.

I hate running boards because they are single purpose, I prefer sliders. But a lot of people like running boards. What matters is if you like them.

My out the door was actually $34,500. The truck was $34130 + 370 doc/processing fees = $35,000 out the door.

This is the one from Oklahoma. He/she will pay TTL at dealership. So thats the price "out the door" + 3.5% at tag office.

I personally like them, mine came with the 5 inch black oval tube running boards. I would take the shark ones over the tube style

I like the tube steps better than the running boards. If I take them off any chance I would be able to sell them for a decent price?

Oh yeah. Everything about tacomas sell like hot cakes. Post them on craigslist. Doubt they last a week. As far as price, look through the classifieds here and see what they are going for.
