So a few days ago I noticed my brake lights were staying on. After some investigating I needed a brake light switch holder. It had broken and the switch had fallen out. So ordered a new piece said he in the nxt day. But brake lights were still on and draining battery. So I unhooked the switch every time I got out of truck to save battery 3 times max. So the nxt day went to go get part from dealer. Started truck had all my lights on the dash flashing at me. (4LO,check engine, traction control, vsc) so I got it scanned and they said it's a speed sensor it's ok to drive but will have no 4x4 until get a new one. So I went home put brake light switch back into its spot. Lights are out things seemed ok. Later that night needed to leave but couldn't get out of my driveway in 2wd. So I tried 4x4 and it worked so I backed out and drove away. Still in 4x4. Drive about 5 min and I let my foot of gas and truck basically came to a stop. Got out looked around didn't notice anything but could smell burning of brakes. So put it back into 2wd but truck wouldn't go. So back into 4x4 I put it. Truck would move but it was def fighting against itself. Drove it back home like this. (Had to drive it. Had a truck full of kids lol). When I got out at home. The front rotors were glowing red hot. Now it's sitting on hoist and none of the tires will roll. Any suggestions would be great. Would it have something to do with me disconnecting that brake switch. Sorry for long post figured I should put all details in.
