Cooper is the #2 Tire manufacturer in the USA (behind Goodyear). I've liked my Cooper Adventurer A/T (Pep Boys specific AT3 tire). The tread design is slightly more aggressive and the mileage warranty lower. They track well, have not cupped, and do well at low and high PSI. I have not dealt with ice or snow in the 15 months I've had the tires. Wear is even and drive-by and cabin noise is low for an AT tire. Like any other tire, the noise opens up around 10k-15k miles, but it's still nowhere near my Firestones noise level.

Just put a set of 255 75 17 AT3's on the beginning of Nov. So far so good. I added 200lb of weight in the bed though. I have a bad driveway and the first 5" snow fall the toy was scratching to get out. Never had that issue with the 4Runner.

The Cooper drum has already been beaten but I have always been a BFG KO/KO2 buyer which I feel now was more based on looks now. After doing a bunch of research and reading so much great feedback along with the clear difference in cost and an actual mileage warranty I went with AT3's and I love them. We've had a crazier winter than usual here in the PNW and they've been outstanding driving up to the mountain. Handle great. Low road noise as well. Buying another set for our LX470 next week.

There was a time when the BFG KO was the best A/T tire out there - but that was a long time ago. The KO2 isn't much different - just a mild update to an old design IMO. Most buyers of BFGs these days are purchasing out of brand loyalty or because it looks the part brah. The Cooper ATs don't "look" aggressive - but they get the job done.

About 4K miles on AT3's and very pleased. Don't drive on snow so I can't comment.
They are very good on wet roads, reasonably quite for a fairly aggressive AT tire, and handle well on and off road.
    I would buy them again.

I think The GY tires you are asking about we're OEM on my 2016 f150 4x4. They are ok tires. I had a defective one upon delivery that had to be replaced. They are not nearly as aggressive as the Coopers on my Taco but they ride smooth and quite. Doubt I will repeat when these are done.

I have about 10k on my Cooper ATPs and have had nothing but good things to say about them. I have noticed the noise level rise a bit, but it went from dead quite to almost dead quiet.

I think some 255x85 ST Maxx are the next set I am going with

I had Cooper AT3's on my 2000 and really liked them. Put Hankook DynaPro ATM's on my 2015 and like them better so far. Quieter, and a bit better traction in wet weather. Sorry no experience with the Goodyears

Just bought my 3rd set of Coopers: STT Maxx. So far they seem like a great tire like all the rest. One thing I have noticed about the Coopers I have owned is that they balance with very little weight.
