2'nd Taco in 19 Yrs...

Thanks for the add! Had a 4 Cyl Manual 4WD '98 Tacoma Access Cab I bought new & drove for many years until an uninsured drunk driver ran off the road & totaled it while parked in my yard. Luckily it was covered under my policy's uninsured motorist clause & they gave me $10,700 for it which blew me away. It was in great condition though with only 79,000 mi which must be why. Anyway - Liked the old truck so much just knew I had to have another Taco & after searching the web for several weeks found an 012 MGM Off Road Access Cab in great shape with only 55,000 mi. Wife & I drove 2 1/2 hrs to see it one night after work & drove it home that same night!!! New truck is 4.0L 5 Sp Auto with 2" lift, Cast Alum Whls sporting brand new Mastercraft Courser MXT 33" tires installed by the dealer. I like this truck a lot & hope it will do as good by me as my ole '98 & look forward to learning as much as I can about these newer trucks & how to customize em here on Tacoma World...

Ain't that the truth - did I mention there was a scuffle after it happened before the trooper arrived? I ended up with a broken pinky finger but he ended up on his ass in the driveway!!! lol

Just one taken at night but doesn't do it justice. Been meaning to get some more but with work & everything else goin on - just keep forgetting. It had the lift, wheels & tires when I bought it but already added WeatherTech mats, Wet Okole Realtree X-tra front seat covers, Go Rhino black nerf bars, AVS front vent visors & Aeroskin bug shield. Aero AT2525Xl muffler, RokBlokz short mud flaps for oversized tires, Avid Light Bar & Bullet Proof Fabricators Skid Plate are on the way. Plan to go all out on this truck or at least until the money runs out lol Really like the looks of those Soft Toppers but $700 just ain't in my budget right now...

 

Couldn't believe they gave me 10K+ for it. Put all that down & still had to borrow 15K. Pretty sure $23,400 was a good price for a 2012 V6 Off Road Access LB with only 55,000 mi & the guy who had it really took good care of it - looks like new inside & out plus it had the lift, wheels & new tires. Only thing I could find wrong with it is one broken hinge on the gas filler door & they knocked off $200 for that...
