So @SDHQ OFFROAD just came out with a product for our trucks that I have never seen before so I figured I would do a review on them. They are 05+ Tacoma ABS guards and if the title of them doesn't tell you what they do I'll explain it. They are metal shields for our ABS sensors so they don't take a rock and break, the sensors themselves are pretty expensive so I figured I would pick up a set of these seeing as I know someone who had a rock take his out. Here's what the package looked like they came in.

They come with full instructions and list of tools needed to install.

I'll walk you through the install. There are 3 guards 2 for the front and one for the driver rear. The passenger side one is behind the axle so the chances of you breaking that on are slim to none and if you do you have bigger fish to fry. They are labeled a for the drivers side and b for passenger. You will need a 10mm open ended wrench and pair of needle nose.
The drivers side looks like this.

The bolt you take out is the 10mm that is on the spindle it's the bolt in the picture below the outer tie rod end. So you take that bolt out and put the shield on so that the bottom of the shield is parallel with the ground. And insert the supplied hardware with the washer between the bolt and the ABS guard. Here's what it looks like when done.

Then you repeat the same steps on the passenger side. Here's the passenger side after install.

Now for the rear here's what the rear looks like on the drivers side before. And you are going to take off a nut this time it's the same size so you don't need a new wrench.

Here's what it looks like with the nut off.

Now you have to actually pull the sensor out, it's not difficult.

Now with the sesore out of the way you take the needle nose or whatever you chose to twist the stud out counter clockwise. With stud removed you put the sensor back in and repeat the same process as the front with the supplied hardware. Here's a picture of it done.

Now with it all complete it's an added security for those sensors. If you have any questions on it feel free to ask or contact @SDHQ OFFROAD or @tubbsisland
